Chaplain Corps

Montana Wing Civil Air Patrol

The CAP Chaplain Corps provides spiritual care and the opportunity for CAP members and their families to exercise their constitutional right to the free exercise of religion. This is accomplished through religious observances, providing pastoral care, and advising leadership on spiritual, ethical, moral, morale, core values, and religious accommodation issues.

The CAP Chaplain Corps is comprised of both Chaplains and Character Development Instructors (CDIs), all requiring appointments by the National Chief of Chaplains. If you are interested in being a Chaplain or CDI, and you meet the appointment requirements in CAPR 265-1 or have any questions, please contact the wing chaplain at the email address listed below.

For more detailed information about the CAP Chaplain Corps, read Ch Reutemannís article in the Dec 2014 edition of the wing magazine.
